Ecoshift's Beginning

More Specifically: In the midst of global warming and ever rising CO2 levels coming into the limelight; We wanted to place an emphasis on all-electric systems with solar power generation, especially in the residential sector.  In fact, the Japanese Ministry of Environment stated in a recent report that the Japanese Solar power generation level would rise 25X by 2020 (Compared to 2005 levels)  However, the expensive traditional “contractors, subcontractors, and third-party specialists” business model leads to costly projects that are not reasonable to the consumer. Therefore, we decided to utilize our resources to gather demand for environmentally friendly projects for our members, such as solar projects.  With this gathered demand, we organize with our extensive member base to provide the lowest costs possible to the consumer.  Our members also reap the benefits of a sustainable source of income income and social responsibility while becoming experts in this rapidly emerging market.

Additionally, the financial crisis that erupted in 2008 has led to the current recession causing a drop in construction work and contractor demand.  Before, in Japan there were a high volume of construction projects that were sold at low margins, however the volume was so high that the companies prospered. However, the high-volume low-profits business model is no longer possible in the current financial state of Japan.  Now, companies have to look toward more value-added projects. We designed Ecoshift to provide a solution to this very serious developing problem for current professionals in Japan.  The before mentioned customer-contractor connection system also lowers the cost for all parties, and provides more opportunities for the contractor to find steady work even as the former large scale construction schemes fade away.

The Ecoshift Idea

We are an organization that allows for the customer to be pleased with the work they pay for, the contractors to be proud of their effort and satisfied with their pay, and all parties have in the end help the environment though renewable energy and conservation. We do this by making Ecoshift an efficient platform for customers to contact one central location for the latest eco-friendly technology that directly represents the contractors and engineers. Ecoshift also represents the customer’s interests by keeping the quality of Ecoshift’s members high and in check while negotiating the fairest price based on the market as opposed to making money as an intermediary.  This collective effort eliminates the intermediary’s needless fees and drastically reduces administrative costs.  Furthermore, Ecoshift coordinates inventory management amongst its members so that even small companies or individuals can come together to make large scale purchases, lowering costs and providing suppliers with large, steady orders.
